HotDoodle connects with PayPal.com to allow visitors the ability to purchase items from a HotDoodle website. PayPal does not require customers to create a PayPal account if they are paying by Credit or Debit Card.

Payments on your website are processed through PayPal, an online payment service. PayPal allows users to pay for a purchase through a credit card, bank account transfer, or pre-funded account. There are no fees for the buyer. For the seller, there are no set up fees or monthly account charges. However, PayPal charges Sellers a flat fee of $.30 on each transaction plus 1.9-2.9% of the total payment. The exact percentage varies based on your monthly volume. To link PayPal to your HotDoodle website, you will first need a Business account with PayPal. (This account type is free, but processing fees apply. See PayPal.com for full details.)

      Setting up and configuring your PayPal account

There are two ways to link PayPal to your HotDoodle website. HotDoodle can be linked to PayPal with either:  

1. HotDoodle PayPal enabled Paypal or Product Catalog blocks.   See How to get the PayPal Identity Token
2. PayPal generated buttons.  See How to get the PayPal embed code  With these buttons  

• No record of purchases is kept by the site
• Purchasers are not registered in the site
• No custom thank-you emails are sent
• No additional site content becomes accessible
• None of the text in the site changes to reflect the purchase
• The purchase button still shows as if there had been no purchase
• Every time you want to make a change, no matter how minor, you go back and forth between the PayPal button generator and the site
